Friends of Ecovillages First Meeting

Our first event at the Geeveston Community Hall on the 19th of May 2018

Friends of ecovillages launched its first event in Geeveston, Hobart Tasmania at the Geeveston community Hall on the 19 of May 2018. The event was called "What would it be like to live without money".

Friends of Ecovillages also collaborates with other like minded organizations such as the Global Ecovillage Network, Narara Ecovillage, Tasman Ecovillage, the Fellowship of Intentional Communities and has participated in Events organized by the Huon Valley Council, Huon Circular Economy, the New Kind Festival and the Deep Agrarian Gathering.

Friends of Ecovillages is a group that wants to promote healing by creating a different paradigm of living from misery to healing by using the models of Ecovillages, transition towns and cohousing projects.
